Dr. Morse K. Upshaw

Dr. Upshaw completed his undergraduate degrees in biology, chemistry and psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1974. His adventures then took him to San Francisco, CA where he obtained his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1978. Dr. Upshaw is double board certified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and holds additional credentialing in wound care management as a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

After completing his post-doctoral training, Dr. Upshaw established his first office in Alhambra, CA in 1980. His Pasadena office was opened in 2009. During that time, he has developed many outstanding relationships with several preeminent physicians and healthcare facilities in the San Gabriel Valley. His interest in education has been sustained by active involvement in the technical training of young resident doctors in his profession with his position as a clinical and surgical staff member. Dr. Upshaw has been active in providing training in general and innovative surgical techniques for podiatric surgeons since 1990. He is one of the senior staff members for one of the most successful surgical residency programs in the San Gabriel Valley. Dr. Upshaw is proud of the residents with which he has been involved. They have gone on to establish their own practices and contribute to a well-integrated community of professionals.

Dr. Upshaw continues his training to improve his practice by attending many specialty seminars and training sessions throughout the year. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association and the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Society. He is a consultant for many of his local medical groups and provides advice and care for the community at large.

When not involved with his active practices, Dr. Upshaw’s interests lead to travel, photography clinics and music. His photographic adventures include HDR technique with special interests in landscapes and wildlife. His musical talents involve continuing to master the guitar.

Dr. Upshaw is supported in his professional and recreational endeavors by his beautiful wife and two daughters who make his life an absolute joy.

Dr. Steve Tung, DPM

Dr. Steve Tung is a highly skilled podiatrist specializing in advanced wound care, limb salvage, trauma care, and general podiatry. He is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, relieving pain, and returning to their daily lives with confidence.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Tung moved to the United States at the age of 14. Initially inspired by his father, an electrical engineer in Silicon Valley, he planned to pursue a career in engineering. However, a life-changing experience altered his path when his grandfather developed a severe leg infection related to uncontrolled diabetes. Witnessing the profound impact that specialized medical care can have on a patient’s life inspired Dr. Tung to pursue a career in podiatric medicine.

Graduating from UCLA University, he attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Currently has over 17 years in practice.

Dr. Tung is passionate about improving patient outcomes and takes pride in helping individuals heal, regain independence, and return to work and the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tung enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their four children.
